Avulsion on iTunes

NLCW officials are currently in talks with Apple executives in regards to offering full NLCW Avulsion episodes on iTunes.

The shows will sell for $1.99 an episode and will be available for download the day after the show airs on television.

Negotiations are still taking place and a launch date for the new service offering has not yet been confirmed.

Former Stars Backstage at Avulsion

There are several former NLCW stars backstage at the Avulsion taping tonight. It's unknown at this point if they are there to visit old friends or if any of them will appear on the show itself.

We can't name who they are right now, but the backstage area looks like a who's who of NLCW history right now.

We'll keep you updated.

Dazz News

Since Bloodbath several months ago, news has been scarce on the Dazz front but what has the Messiah of Metal been up to?

Word has it that he has been secretly plotting revenge since Faith's attack which left both his girlfriend Karla Kotero with stitches in her forehead and a fracture in her spinal column which has left her in a neck brace since that moment while he himself suffered possibly broken ribs at the hands of Faith and a metal pole. He has indeed disappeared from the wrestling scene to tend to his injured girl while trying to heal himself before thinking about stepping into a ring again but other news has filtered that he may also be working on a new album.

NLCW and indeed Dazz followers may take note that his previous band Havok Rising (who have been influential on the metal scene for as long as his tenure as a professional wrestler) split due to an injury suffered by their drummer which in turn caused Dazz to become restless and form the new band Skeksis.

Could this new project take him away from the ring for even longer and if he does return, could he have his own specifically written theme music? And what of this alleged revenge plot on Faith? Stay tuned while we work on following up our leads on this icon and Hall of Famer.

Reason for Rick Majors' Retirement

Though publicly Rick Majors is saying the reason for his retirement is primarily due to him wanting to spend more time with his wife, our sources indicate that his numerous injuries are in fact the main cause.

It seems that Majors aggravated his neck injury just before Slamfest. That may explain the reason for the fourway main event and the "suspension" angle following the show. Did NLCW officials want to reduce the amount of time Majors spent in the ring due to his injury?

Apparently Majors became terrified at the prospect of being paralyzed by his injury and decided to walk away from the ring while he still could.

Also, his retirement will likely be a permanent one. He does not seem interested in returning to the ring anytime soon. Majors, however, does still have two years remaining on his NLCW contract, so don't be surprised if you see him turn up in another capacity for the company, either on camera or behind the scenes.

Frank Merritt News

Former four time American Champion and N.L.C.W. Hall of Fame member, Frank Merritt, hasn't been seen in the ring for quite some time. Rumors suggested he had an injury, had been jailed on drug charges, or had simply quit the business altogether. The insider, however, was finally able to catch up with Mr. Merritt's business manager and close personal friend, Mike "Grimmy" Grimm and get the "Inside" scoop.

"Frank has been doing a lot of film projects as of late. He's not in jail. He's not injured. Simply filming a television show and a few movies, is all." replied Grimmy.

When asked if he could elaborate, Grimmy obliged without hesitation.

"He has filmed an episode of "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" where he will be playing the role of a club bouncer suspected of being hired to commit a murder. As for the movies, Frank's has filmed his role for Sin City 2 and is set to start filming his starring role in "Manhunt;" based on the video game from Rockstar Games. He's playing the part of James Earl Cash, the main character of the popular and controversial game franchise.

He and his former Anarchy stablemate, Chris Logan, are going to appear in the remake of Wes Craven's 1972 horror film, Last House on the Left. And finally, adding to his already full plate, Frank has just signed on to do a movie with Chris Logan, Dillon Durst, Sean Galen, Isaac Reynolds, and Bucky Skylar. It's being produced by Rockingwell for Sony Pictures. Marvel Zombies is guaranteed to be a hit at the box office and, showcasing the talent of these six individuals, prove that N.L.C.W. has the best talent in both the wrestling industry as well as Hollywood. Even though you aren't seeing the Monster on you television screens in the ring, you'll be able to see him soon enough on the silver screen."

When asked if Frank was finished with in ring competition, Grimmy couldn't give a straight answer.

"He might be and then again, he might not. Time will tell....

NLCW Goes To The Movies?

In the past No Limits Championship Wrestling has seen its fair share of superstars go on to become movie stars in the Hollywood spotlight.

Example, Ethan Andrews left the NLCW after his success in hits Green Lantern and Castlevania. As of this news drop he is off in Australia filming a sequel to Castlevania titled, "Castlevania: The Belfont Curse".

But who's next?

Dillon Durst is one. His recent absence has been detailed as a retirement of sorts but he is actually in Germany filming "Gears of War".

NLCW also made a deal with Paramount Pictures to give James Rockingwell a executive producer role while three members of the Saints are set to join the cast of "G.I. Joe". Rumor has it that Chris Logan is gonna be playing the role of Cobra Commander. While Sean Galen has landed the role of Shipwreck and Issac Reynolds has landed the role of Flint.

Rockingwell also got another executive producer role as Sony Pictures got Bucky Skyler to portray the main villain in "Spiderman 4", the role is Kraven.

Rick Majors maybe retiring but he is set to star in back-to-back movies thats right Rick Majors is set to star in New Line Cinema's "The Hobbit".
